Thank you for visiting my webpage. I am very excited to start my 17th year teaching in Menomonee Falls. Looking forward to seeing you this Fall.
I attended UW-LaCrosse in which I earned my B.S. with a Physical Education (K-12) degree and a coaching competitive athletics minor in 1999. One year later I completed my health certification from Carroll College in Waukesha. In 2004, I earned my masters degree in Professional Teacher Development from Marian College.
I check my email throughout the day, so that would be the easiest method of communication to reach me. If you'd like to talk via telephone, I am available before school, between 11:30 - 12:30, and anytime after school. I can be reached at 255-8450; ext 7024.
I will be teaching two section of 6th physical education, two sections of 8th grade physical education and two sections of 7th grade health/physical education this year. I also will be helping the 7th grade in flex activities. Physical Education and Health classes will be on 9 week schedules this year. 6th graders will have two 9 week quarters this year (either 1st or 3rd quarters, or 2nd or 4th quarters) My 7th grade students will have Physical Education class 1st and 3rd quarters and Health 2nd and 4th quarters. 8th grade PE will be either 1st or 2nd semester.
I will be the middle school tennis coordinator. Tennis is for both boys and girls in grades 6 through 8. My 6th year overall.
I will also be the 7th grade boys' basketball coach this season, my 17th year of coaching basketball at all levels.
Being in the profession of teaching young people games, sports, and leading an active lifestyle it is only natural that I am still very active in sports myself. Basically any activity that involves a ball I try to participate in. Those include volleyball, basketball, softball, flag football and golf, to name a few. In fact, my competitive softball team won the Super World Series in South Carolina five years ago.
